2020 saw a lot of short film projects stall. Either the timing, content or tone didn’t feel right, or production restrictions and safety protocols made the project feel impossible to pull off. But having had an opportunity to adapt scripts, locations and teams, and with vaccines and hope on the horizon, we’re seeing filmmakers return to their films in 2021.
To help figure out the financing part of this equation, Senior Director of Film at Kickstarter, Elise McCave, is here to explore how to make the most of crowdfunding for your short film in today’s changing world. She’ll share recent case studies and best-practices for crowdfunding success.
The session will be part-presentation and part-Q&A, so bring your burning questions and brilliant ideas, and leave equipped with the skills and confidence to launch a successful campaign.
Elise is Senior Director of Film at Kickstarter.
