The migration of some of this year's London Film Festival to an online platform brings with it new opportunities in accessability, and NETWORK are thrilled to open up our coveted filmmaker conversations to a wider audience beyond the capital. Join us and have questions ready for some of the most exciting debut filmmakers from this year's programme.

BFI NETWORK@LFF CASE STUDY: RELIC

Wednesday 14th October – 11am

We’ll be chatting to writer/director Natalie Erika James about her experiences making RELIC, at once a heart-breaking allegory for the debilitating effects of dementia and a no holds barred exercise in pure horror. We’ll be delving deep into the triumphs and challenges of getting the film made as well as sharing valuable insight and advice for new filmmakers looking towards making their first feature.

Filmmaker Yemi Bamiro, shares his experiences of making ONE MAN AND HIS SHOES, a documentary examining the cultural and commercial phenomena of Michael Jordan against the increasing commodification of Black culture. We’ll be delving deep into the triumphs and challenges of getting the film made as well as sharing valuable insight and advice for new filmmakers looking towards making their first feature.
