Mr Madila 2017
By Rory Waudby-Tolley
8:40 minutes
Mr Madila documents a series of conversations between the filmmaker and a gifted spiritual healer, exploring the inner mind and the fabric of the universe.
“Everything is mostly nothing” in the laugh out loud, brilliantly sharp, Mr. Madila. We love the originality of the film and its animation/documentary approach, a complete winner from start to finish.

I was given the card of a spiritual healer on the street. I am sceptical of anything verging on the supernatural or wishy washy, yet am strangely attracted to the poetry of nonsense.  Animation allowed me to play with big ideas in a humorous way.
